Armocromia in Barcelona The Italian colour method, with an Italian consultant
Armocromia is the Italian method of colour analysis. I am Giulia Tripodi, an Italian image consultant trained at the Italian Image Institute in Milan and Rome, and at my Barcelona studio I apply it exactly as I learned it: with drapes, controlled light and the four colour parameters.
Sessions can be in English, Spanish or Italian. Here I explain what makes the Italian approach different: the sub-groups within each season, the work on hair colour and the workshops for groups and professionals.

- Drape test next to your face, in controlled light at the studio

What is Italian about armocromia
In Italy, armocromia works with four parameters (undertone, value, intensity and contrast) and with seasons split into sub-groups. Saying “you are an autumn” is not enough: what matters is which trait dominates in you, and that precision is what makes your palette useful when you shop.
The Italian school also puts a lot of weight on hair colour. That is why, besides the classic session, I offer a version focused on hair, with professional Haircromía frames, to find the shade and the dye number that flatter you.
Armocromia and colour analysis share the same goal: your colours. For the general service overview, the studio and bookings, see colour analysis in Barcelona; to see the session step by step, read how a colour analysis works.

Armocromia workshops for groups and professionals
The workshop is both theory and practice: we learn how to use colour in clothing, design and visual communication, and each participant sees how colours react on their own face. It is for groups of 4 to 12 people and lasts about two hours.
If you work in image, fashion or beauty, there is also an armocromia kit to use with your own clients. And to take your palette into the shops, the next step is a personal shopper in Barcelona.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between armocromia and colour analysis?
They pursue the same thing: the colours that flatter you. Armocromia is the name of the Italian method, which works with four parameters and with sub-groups within each season; colour analysis is the general term.
How much does armocromia cost in Barcelona?
The studio session lasts about 60 minutes and costs €129, with a dossier, a 12-fabric pocket swatch and follow-up on WhatsApp. With a focus on hair colour it costs €169 (90 minutes). Online, €129.
Can the session be in Italian or English?
Yes. I am Italian, and I run sessions in Italian, Spanish or English.
Do you run armocromia workshops for groups?
Yes, theory-and-practice workshops for groups of 4 to 12: €59 per person for 4 to 10 people and €49 per person in groups of 11 or 12. For larger groups, get in touch.
How should I come?
Without make-up or accessories, and without having been in the sun in the previous days: a tan makes it harder to read your skin tone.
